TSSM [Transportation Science Society of Malaysia - Persatuan Sains Pengangkutan Malaysia] was established in late 1990s to encourage local transportation research subsequent to initiatives from local researchers active in EASTS. Since 2002 until 2021, TSSM have managed to organise 15 MUTRFC conferences hosted by local universities. The current TSSM office bearers are lead by Professor Ir. Dr. Mohamed Rehan Karim from Universiti Malaya (UM).
